Reporting your concerns is the first step in getting help for abused children and their families.
To report suspected child abuse or neglect, contact:
KANSAS DEPARTMENT OF CHILDREN AND FAMILIES
PROTECTION REPORT CENTER
(24 hrs / 7 days/week)
In an emergency or time-sensitive situation, contact your local law enforcement office, call 911.
Please provide as much information as possible, including the child’s name, address, age, nature of the concern, current location, alleged perpetrator (if known) and any other details you believe to be important. Reports to DCF may be made anonymously. DCF is required, however, to keep the identity of the reporter confidential. If a reporter provides his/her name and phone number, this may be helpful for DCF to obtain additional information about the report.
